Concept of Working of The TouchScreen

Touchscreens are widely used in the field of technology nowadays. This has helped the people to easily work on their gadgets. So, I thought of writing this post to inform people about what I know about touch screen.
The touch screen gadgets help the users to easily access their gadgets as there is no internediate like mouse or keypad. It helps people to directly interact in the screen. This direct interaction makes people to indulge more deeply in their work.

Working:

The Touchscreen has two layers
of thin electrical sheets seperated by a tiny gap. When it is pressed a finger or a stylus, the two layers touch each other and changes the amount of electric flow. This results in component identifying the location of touch. Touchscreen can be accesed by hand or stylus (a device used instead of hand for more accurate touch).

These touchscreens are nowadays broadly used in many places like ATMs, Mobile phones, PDAs and normal computers like Apple i-mac
